We got to spend about 5 days in Missouri on Kirk's spring break. We both enjoyed the break from work and school. We got in on a Friday and then it snowed on Saturday! We were pretty excited. It was just enough to look pretty but not keep us stuck in the house. It was ok to stay and and snuggle with Brady, though.

We mostly just hung out around Columbia while we were there. We did a little shopping, walked around the shops downtown, ate some super yummy ice cream (Banana Nutella what!?), and had the Mingus family help us introduce Kirk to Shakespeare's pizza. We had a blast with the Minguses (Mingi?) but, as usual, didn't take any pictures. Crazy to think it's been about 15 years since I first babysat their kids. Sure makes me feel old.
We got to make a trip to the Nauvoo temple and see some of the sights of Old Nauvoo while we were there. It was freezing! But we are so glad we went. Who can resist the gun shop? Definitely not Kirk or Dad.
Oh yeah, I did have a birthday while we were there, too. Happy birthday to me.
